Command Reference: > (truncate file)

Writes STDIN to disk - overwriting contents if file already exists

Description

Redirects output to file.

If a file already exists, the contents will be truncated (overwritten). Otherwise a new file is created.

Usage

<stdin> -> > filename

Examples

g * -> > files.txt
